Summer internship at SB Associates(DesignBoro) under the guidance of Ar. Apoorva Keni Borole.
SB Associates
SB Associates (SBA) is an architecture and consultancy firm based in Borivali west and run by Ar. Saurabh Borole and Ar. Apoorva Keni Borole. Within SBA, the interior designing division, known as DesignBoro is led by Ar. Apoorva Keni Borole and focuses on designing interior spaces in Mumbai and beyond.
During my internship, I primarily worked within the DesignBoro division along with architects, interior designers and draftsmen.
Our main goal was to create functional and pleasing environments that catered to the preferences of the clients and make sure that the designs were in compliance with building norms and space constraint challenges.
Working at the DesignBoro division, refined my design methodology and equipped me to address complex design challenges while effectively managing client expectations.

Location: Borivali west
For this particular site, I rendered the floor plans and podium level plans using Photoshop and AutoCAD.
I also made some modifications to external and internal walls while considering factors like natural light, views, a better furniture layout, and the relationship between interior and exterior spaces.

For this site, I worked on both architectural elevations and furniture layout simultaneously.
This simultaneous approach helped me visualize how the space will be used and how structural elements interact with interior designing.
Based on the finalized furniture layout, I made the necessary adjustments to windows and partition walls.

For this site, I rendered the plans and elevations using Photoshop, which allowed for a detailed representation of the design. During this process, I worked in collaboration with another architect.
Once the design was finalized, we created a booklet for each room that included plans, elevations, and measurements for each aspect of the room. These booklets were distributed to onsite workers, providing them with an easy reference for the construction process.
