Cortazar in Kond

Creating space with conversations and dialogues.

After returning from Kond, we were assigned to work on a specific site, which in my case was the gymkhana. Alongside this, we were provided with texts from Julio Cortázar's book "Hopscotch." The specific text I received revolved around conversations and dialogues. I delved into the themes, emotions, and ideas expressed in the text, considering how they could be translated into a spatial experience.

The next step was to combine the concepts and ideas derived from the site and the text. Drawing on the notion of conversations, I envisioned a space that fosters dialogue, interaction and connection among its users. This allowed me to create a meaningful design approach.

By contemplating mysite and the text together, I developed an idea to create a space that encourages conversations. Using drawings as a visual medium, I began to develop my concept further. These drawings became a means to communicate and represent the spatial qualities, elements, and experiences I envisioned for the conversational space. Creating the drawings involved an iterative process of refining and developing design ideas.
