Extension

We visited a slum redevelopment area that provided us with the opportunity to understand the existing context. We observed the layout, spatial configuration, structural elements, and materials used in construction. This analysis helped us determine the feasibility of extending a living space and understanding the constraints and opportunities presented by the site.

Once we had a conceptual idea, we began space planning to determine the layout and distribution of the new living space.

We aimed to optimize the available area while ensuring functionality.. As the design progressed, we focused on integrating the extension seamlessly with the existing construction.

This involved refining the details of junctions between old and new elements, resolving transitions, and ensuring a cohesive visual language.
